Asliria peered into the living room and saw Lazarus and Chase were still asleep after their night out. She then quickly hurried out of Chase's place and started jogging. She smiled as she saw a few other worshippers heading into the church and slowed to a walk as she entered.
The church wasn't as ornate as some of the pictures and testimonials from the old world talked about but the building carved out of the rock was fancier than most. The windows were high and arched and the carvings and paintings on the walls featured scenes from the Bible.
She sat down on one of the pews and put her hands together before the service began.
My Lord,
I am thankful for everything you have given me, grateful for the support I have and the love I have from my friends and Chase.
Thank you.
