Day 12: Pumpkin Patch“Do babies come pumpkin patches?” the little girl asked her pregnant mother, Raven.Day 12: Pumpkin Patch by alphacadet0820
“Cabbage patches sweetheart,” her father, Nathan, interjected.
“Oh.” She skipped along the lines of pumpkins growing, looking for the pumpkin she was going to take home. She stopped by one and knelt down to look at it.
“Do you like that one?” Raven smiled, a hand on her growing bump.
She turned and grinned as she spotted a big one. “This one!” She jumped up and pointed at it.
Nathan chuckled and set about picking it for her.
“Mummy! I like doing this!” she smiled.
“I imagine you do green fingers.” Raven squeezed her daughter's shoulder, proud of her nature mage daughter.
Day 11: Giving ThanksAsliria peered into the living room and saw Lazarus and Chase were still asleep after their night out. She then quickly hurried out of Chase's place and started jogging. She smiled as she saw a few other worshippers heading into the church and slowed to a walk as she entered.Day 11: Giving Thanks by alphacadet0820
The church wasn't as ornate as some of the pictures and testimonials from the old world talked about but the building carved out of the rock was fancier than most. The windows were high and arched and the carvings and paintings on the walls featured scenes from the Bible.
She sat down on one of the pews and put her hands together before the service began.
I am thankful for everything you have given me, grateful for the support I have and the love I have from my friends and Chase.
Day 10: Soup“Is it, edible?” Maxwell asked, prodding the bowl with his spoon.Day 10: Soup by alphacadet0820
“Yes, of course.” Daniel looked at his brother confused. “Amelia wolfs it down. She likes my soup.”
Maxwell looked sceptical at him. “Really?”
“Hm.” He dipped his spoon in, retrieved a small amount and tentatively put it in his mouth. He then shrugged as he swallow. “Well, if mum finds me dead in my bed tomorrow, she'll know who to blame.”
“Thanks Maxie,” Daniel sighed, rolling his eyes.
Day 9: FootballMiles flicked around the channels on the TV then stopped on the England football game. He then turned to his friend Skyler and her partner wizardmon, who was currently reading his friends essay.Day 9: Football by alphacadet0820
He thought for a moment about asking if Wizardmon could actually understand what he was reading then decided against it and instead said, “I've never understood football.”
“Hm?” She looked over at him.
“Football. All the guys at school and college talked about football as the be all and end all but me, I never saw the appeal.” He tossed the controller aside and sighed.
“If you're not watching the TV, can you turn it off?” She looked up at him in amusement, though slightly irritated.
“Yeah sorry.” He flicked it off and started for his bedroom. “I need to go anyway. I've got a shift at the hospital.”
“Deliver those babies well,” she called back to him then prayed that none of her future paramedic colleagues would
87. FoodAaron gave the lamb stew a quick taste and grimaced, it wasn't perfect but it was the best he could do. He could only hope that Caldwell would allow him to acquire supplies from now on, he'd realised a while ago that Caldwell only seemed to pick up what he thought was essential, a list that consisted of dried meat, bread and horse feed. When Aaron thought about it the horse's were better fed than they were.87. Food by Unspecified-Reasons
"That bad huh?" asked Richard standing across from Aaron.
"I can't work miracles," Aaron replied shortly.
"Of that I have no doubt, here try this," offered Richard opening one of his many pouches.
Aaron gave it a suspicious glare, "what is it?"
"Marjoram, you know I'm not going to poison you. It would be a waste of poison."
Aaron gave the pouch a cursory sniff before taking a small pinch of the dried herb, it smelled right before dumping it into the stew and stirring it in.
"I also have some salt here unless you think I'm trying to kill you," Richard said with a smile settling down
